Your Supportive Guide & Biggest Cheerleader

Hey! I’m Kamryan Mong, a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in Arkansas, and I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges with warmth, empathy, and maybe even a little laughter along the way.

Therapy changed my life, and now I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where others can find healing and growth. I take a person-centered, compassionate approach to working with clients of all ages, specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and women’s wellness. I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), women’s mental health, and evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you process the tough stuff and move forward with confidence.

Outside the office, I’m spending time with my family (plus our two cats and two dogs), painting with my toddler, or getting lost in digital art. The beach is my happy place, and I believe in the power of creativity and connection to fuel healing.

If you’re ready to start this journey, I’m here to walk alongside you—let’s make this process feel a little lighter together.

  • Therapy can benefit anyone facing personal challenges—whether it's life transitions, trauma, mental health struggles, or relationship difficulties. If you're looking for support and a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings, therapy might be right for you. Don't be discouraged by past negative experiences; there's a therapist for everyone. My goal is to ensure you get the best care, even if that means helping you find other resources.

  • I draw on several therapeutic approaches, including person-centered, solution focused, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and KAP (Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy). I prioritize empathy, kindness, and creating a safe space where you feel heard and supported.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that helps people process and heal from trauma and distressing life experiences. It uses guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess painful memories, reducing their emotional intensity. EMDR can benefit you by helping to relieve symptoms of anxiety, PTSD, and other trauma-related issues, allowing you to move forward with greater emotional balance and resilience.

  • The risks of EMDR are generally low, but some people may experience heightened emotions or distress during the therapy as they process difficult memories. This can lead to temporary feelings of anxiety, sadness, or vivid dreams. However, these reactions are typically short-lived, and a trained therapist will help guide you through the process safely. It's important to discuss any concerns with your therapist before starting EMDR to ensure it’s the right fit for you.

  • Unfortunately, I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I offer a sliding scale for those who may need it. Feel free to reach out to discuss fees and how I can accommodate your financial situation.
